Hello, my name is Lauretta.

 

I am a 53-year-old mother of 5 adult children ages 26 through 35. I was born on the Caribbean island of Montserrat, raised in the U.S. Virgin Islands, and moved to the U.S. mainland in 1995. While you are here, I hope to inspire you towards a journey to better health, nutrition, and lifestyle habits

I am excited for the opportunity to share how I successfully maintained my weight, figure, and health for 3.5 decades and counting, and conquered my own unexpected health issues through natural and herbal remedies and practices.

For the first time, I have decided to share my health routines, herbal remedies, food recipes, and lifestyle practices. Some  passed down in my family for generations, and others from my research, training, and formulation.

Additionally...

In January 2014, I almost died after what was supposed to be a routine hysterectomy to remove a large fibroid tumor when the surgeon forgot to suture a major artery in my abdomen. I almost hemorrhaged to death and required emergency surgery, multiple blood transfusions, and assistance to breathe from a ventilator. The hospital refused to take accountability for their error and no attorney would represent me, because despite the hospital errors, subsequent corrective surgeries to repair the damage, and the pain and suffering I endured, in their words, "You didn't die.”

The physical and emotional trauma from that experience propelled me to make some additional changes to my health and lifestyle in addition to those I had already practiced throughout my life.

It will be surprising to you to learn how some foods, ingredients, medicines, products, and procedures contributed to my health conditions. The simple changes that I incorporated to my existing routines are affordable, pleasant, and natural.

I am not vegan, vegetarian, or pescatarian, nor have I ever been, and I don't have a gym membership or "workout" routine.

 

Additionally...

The physical and emotional trauma from that experience propelled me to make some immediate additions to my health and lifestyle to incorporate with those that I already practiced throughout my life.

I am not vegan or vegetarian, nor have I ever been. I canceled my only gym membership in 2003 after paying for 2 years and attending about 10 times.

Remember, "ideal" weight does not equate to healthiness – weight and size are individualized and transform in either direction (good or bad) based on health and lifestyle habits.

I will also share my daily routine, my do's and don'ts, food and products choices, and simple exercises I perform at home. I will also share why at 53, I don't have crow's feet or wrinkles, and why I stopped doing, eating, and drinking certain things.
